School for Life calls for increased investment in rural school infrastructure

Education-focused non-governmental organization School for Life has urged authorities to increase investment in rural school infrastructure. Zulyaden Amadu, the Programmes Manager for School for Life, stated that the funding is necessary to enhance access to inclusive and high-quality education for children living in deprived communities.

In a parallel development, Principal Secretary for Interior and National Administration Raymond Omollo similarly advocated for greater investment in the education sector. Speaking in Siaya, Kenya, Omollo emphasized that improving learning conditions is essential for bridging the rural-urban divide and ensuring children in rural areas have equitable opportunities to compete with their urban counterparts.
