This marks the first visit by U.S. officials to Moscow since January, serving as a platform for the presentation of various ideas aimed at achieving a political and diplomatic resolution to the conflict.

During the discussions, Putin maintained that the Russian military will continue to pursue its established objectives in Ukraine. Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov characterized the meeting as substantive, constructive, and frank, noting that while Russia remains open to cooperation with the United States regarding a settlement, the Russian army's operational goals remain a priority.
