Putin says Russia is winning on battlefield, will not negotiate with ‘terrorists’

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated on Tuesday that Russia is winning the war in Ukraine and declared that he will not engage in negotiations with those he labeled as terrorists. The remarks follow recent military developments and ongoing cross-border hostilities between the two nations.

While asserting a dominant position on the battlefield, Putin acknowledged that Ukrainian attacks within Russian territory have caused significant damage, specifically noting the challenge posed by drone strikes. Currently, Russia maintains control over approximately one-fifth of Ukrainian territory more than four years after the initial invasion began.
