Qantas to launch non stop Sydney to New York flights in historic Project Sunrise expansion

Qantas is set to launch the first-ever non-stop commercial flight service between Sydney and New York, establishing a direct air link between Australia and the United States without any stopovers.

The historic new route forms part of the airline's broader Project Sunrise expansion and is officially scheduled to begin operations in mid-2028.
