The district of Bogotá has announced that the TransMiCable system in San Cristóbal is scheduled to begin operations in late December 2026.

Before the cable system can officially open, TransMilenio must complete the integration and handover of the infrastructure. Additionally, the designated operator is required to finalize its operational readiness and preparation phase.
