According to a recent report by the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (Cepal), Honduras, Belize, and Guatemala record the highest rates of child marriage and early unions in Central America.

The data shows that more than one-third of young women in these three nations enter into a marriage or early union before reaching the age of 18.
