Atherosclerosis can lead to heart attacks and strokes

Two separate violent incidents involving fatalities occurred in the Dominican Republic. In the Los Frailes sector of Santo Domingo Este, two men were killed at a local business following an argument allegedly involving a member of the Dominican Republic Army. The scene remains under police guard as investigations continue.

In a separate event, Ramón Antonio Jáquez Torres, known as “Changa,” was killed during a police intervention in the Las Charcas housing project in Santiago. Authorities were tracking the individual when the encounter occurred during a reported armed robbery.
