Josefa Castillo is removed from Inaipi and appointed consul in Miami

On August 16, Dominican Republic President Luis Abinader announced a series of new government appointments involving key administrative positions. Among the changes, Josefa Aquilina Castillo was removed from her role as the director of the National Institute for Comprehensive Early Childhood Care (Inaipi).

Following her departure from Inaipi, Castillo was reassigned to a diplomatic post, being appointed as the new consul in Miami. Concurrently, the administration filled the vacancy at Inaipi by naming Kenia Xiomara Guante Valdez as the institution's new director.
