Josefa Castillo is removed from Inaipi and appointed consul in Miami

On August 16, Dominican Republic President Luis Abinader announced a series of government appointments that involved leadership changes at the National Institute for Comprehensive Early Childhood Care (Inaipi). As part of these administrative shifts, Josefa Aquilina Castillo was removed from her position as head of Inaipi.

In her place, the government designated Kenia Xiomara Guante Valdez as the new director of the institution. Simultaneously, Castillo was reassigned to a diplomatic post, being named the new consul in Miami.
