Rape and assault case against British YouTuber Yung Filly heading to jury in Australia

The trial of British YouTuber and rapper Yung Filly, whose legal name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, is nearing its conclusion in a Perth, Australia, district court. The 30-year-old entertainer is facing charges of rape and assault stemming from an encounter with a fan following a music performance two years ago. Prosecutors allege that the defendant raped and choked the woman after meeting her at a nightclub.

During the proceedings, Barrientos took the witness stand to testify in his own defense. He maintained that the interaction was consensual, telling the court that the "vibes were good" between him and the complainant. Lawyers for both sides delivered their closing statements on Tuesday, and the case is now heading to the jury for deliberation.
