Dominican authorities confirm three neonatal deaths due to bacteria at maternity hospital

Vice President Raquel Peña confirmed the deaths of at least three newborns at the Maternidad Nuestra Señora de La Altagracia due to a bacterial infection.

Peña expressed her condolences regarding the fatalities. She also announced that the government is actively responding to the situation through the Ministry of Public Health.
