Hundreds of survivors of the KMP Mutiara Santosa 2 arrived in Tanjung Perak

Hundreds of survivors from the burning KMP Mutiara Santosa II have arrived at the Tanjung Perak Port in Surabaya following an incident in the northern waters. Emergency authorities confirmed that the victims were brought ashore after the ferry caught fire.

Reports from the scene indicate varying initial casualty figures as rescue operations progressed. Among those arriving at the port were over a hundred survivors alongside at least two confirmed fatalities resulting from the disaster.
