The political cartoon by Nick Anderson that you published July 19 was terribly unkind and unfair, depicting the targets used by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement troops practicing marksmanship as that of at a fleeing family. Please bear in mind that ICE officers have a very difficult job - identifying and apprehending people who do not want to leave this country.
Mistakes have been made, of course. But if you don’t agree with the law of the land, contact your representatives. Don’t belittle hard-working men and women who are trying to do an impossible job!
