Trial in the Jet Set case adjourned until September 4

Judge Franny González of the Fourth Penal Chamber of the National District has adjourned the trial concerning the collapse of the Jet Set nightclub until September 4. The legal proceedings involve defendants Antonio and Maribel Espaillat, who are facing trial in connection with the incident.

The structural collapse of the Jet Set venue occurred on April 8, 2025. The court is currently in the merit phase of the trial to determine legal responsibility regarding the event.
