Parents, teachers, and community leaders staged a chain-protest on Tuesday in front of the Rafaela Jiminián school located in the Cienfuegos sector of Santiago province, Dominican Republic.

The demonstration was organized to protest ongoing delays in the reconstruction work of the educational facility.

As a result of the prolonged reconstruction delays, more than 800 students remain affected by the disruption to their schooling.
