Security is being reinforced in Cuautla with an operation involving all three levels of government, two months after the arrest of its mayor.

Security has been reinforced in the municipality of Cuautla through a joint operation involving 394 personnel and 79 units across three levels of government.

The deployment comes two months after federal authorities arrested the city's mayor over alleged ties to the Sinaloa Cartel.
