KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica are set to host Central American teams Guatemala and Honduras in their first two games in their Group B Concacaf Nations League first round in the September FIFA window, it was confirmed on Friday. Jamaica will open the first round at the National Stadium against Guatemala on Friday, September 25, before welcoming Honduras four days later on Tuesday, September 29. On October 1, Jamaica will travel to face El Salvador before a return round game against Honduras on Monday, October 5.
The draw for the fifth edition of the new look Concacaf Nations League was made on Thursday. The top two teams from the two groups will qualify for the finals where they will be drawn alongside the ranked teams- two time defending champions Mexico, the USA, Canada and Panama in the quarterfinals. The four quarter-final winners will book their ticket to the 2027 edition of the Concacaf Gold Cup.
