Three active forest fires and two controlled fires have been reported in Ecuador

The Secretaría Nacional de Gestión de Riesgos (SNGR) of Ecuador reported on Sunday that three forest fires are currently active in the Andean region of the country, while two additional fires have been successfully brought under control.

The active blazes are located within the province of Pichincha. Authorities are continuing to monitor and manage the ongoing firefighting efforts in the affected Andean zones.
