Rego admits part of the Government's responsibility for the "extraordinary overflow" situation in Ceuta

Spanish Minister of Youth and Children Sira Rego has acknowledged that the government bears a portion of the responsibility for the extraordinary overflow situation experienced in Ceuta. Making the statements in Madrid on September 5, Rego conveyed a message of self-criticism and solidarity to the local society of Ceuta.

During her remarks, the minister conceded that the government's coordination should have been more efficient and faster in responding to the crisis. With this admission, Rego joins a shared line of self-criticism within the administration, aligning with similar remarks previously made by Defense Minister Margarita Robles.
