Following a recent arrest involving the rector of Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (Unsoed) in a sting operation (OTT), the university's leadership has announced it is awaiting an official decision from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisainitek).

Prof. Noor Farid, the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, confirmed that the institution is currently deferring to ministerial directives as they navigate the administrative and legal implications of the sitting rector's detention.
