Remains found of American mountain climber who died in an avalanche on Pakistan's Broad Peak

Search teams in Pakistan recovered the remains of American mountain climber Mallory Geis on Friday following an avalanche on Broad Peak. Geis was the final missing member of a 10-person international mountaineering expedition.

The international team had been killed weeks prior in the avalanche that struck the mountain. The recovery operation was confirmed by a mountaineering official and local authorities.
