Report: PM didn’t leave his home for army HQ until 2 hours after Oct. 7 invasion began

According to unpublished minutes from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's diary cited by Israeli television, the prime minister did not leave his private residence in Caesarea for the army headquarters until at least 8:30 a.m. on October 7. The invasion had begun two hours prior.

The report also notes that Netanyahu did not consult with security chiefs for another hour and a half after departing his home, raising questions about the timeline of leadership response during the initial hours of the assault.
