Republican senator fires aide who used Nazi soldiers as Facebook profile picture

Ohio Republican Senator Jon Husted has terminated the employment of his campaign political director, Stephen Woytek, following reports that Woytek used an image of Nazi SS soldiers as his Facebook profile picture. Woytek is no longer associated with the campaign following the discovery of the imagery.

In addition to the profile picture, reports indicate that Woytek created a pro-Rhodesia playlist on the streaming platform Spotify. The incident has drawn public attention to the staffer's online activity and subsequent removal from his position within the senator's campaign.
