Revolution Medicines gets FDA approval for targeted pancreatic cancer drug

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved Rasonque, a once-daily pill developed by Revolution Medicines for the treatment of advanced pancreatic cancer. Also known as daraxonrasib, the targeted drug is designed to block multiple forms of the RAS protein, which is responsible for driving tumor growth in numerous pancreatic cancer cases.

Pancreatic cancer is widely recognized as one of the most aggressive forms of the disease. The newly approved medication aims to provide life-extending care for patients facing this difficult diagnosis.
