RFK Jr promises anti-vaxxers a ‘friend at the White House’ amid deadly measles outbreak

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. delivered the keynote address Thursday at a Washington D.C. conference hosted by Children's Health Defense, an anti-vaccine activist group he previously chaired. Speaking to hundreds of attendees, Kennedy assured them that they have a friend in President Donald Trump's White House.

During the address, Kennedy remarked that he would have enacted sweeping changes "on day one" had he not been bound by the law. His appearance at the conference occurred concurrently with the worst measles outbreak in decades, a public health crisis marked by a rising death toll.
