Ricardo de los Santos assumes the presidency of the Senate once again.

Ricardo de los Santos was sworn in on Sunday, August 16, coinciding with Restoration Day, for a new term as president of the Senate of the Dominican Republic. This marks his fourth consecutive year holding the position.

Following his swearing-in, de los Santos addressed the legislature, calling upon lawmakers to maintain teamwork as they continue their duties.
