A family fight in Sincelejo ended with one dead, one arrested, and a woman injured after a knife attack.

A family dispute inside a residence in the El Prado neighborhood of Sincelejo, located in the department of Sucre, resulted in the death of Carlos Néstor Vergara Buelvas. The victim sustained a stab wound to the abdomen during the altercation and subsequently died hours later at a local clinic.

The violent incident also left a woman injured and led to the apprehension of one individual following the knife attack. Local authorities are managing the aftermath of the domestic disturbance as the investigation into the captured suspect continues.
