NewzTennessee Titans head coach Robert Saleh has publicly confirmed that Cam Ward will remain the team's starting quarterback, despite the franchise opening the season with five consecutive losses. Saleh stated that the organization intends to provide the second-year quarterback with every opportunity to succeed moving forward.
Ward's position as the starter has faced scrutiny amidst the team's winless start and his own limited developmental progress in his second year. However, the coaching staff's continued endorsement indicates that the team is willing to maintain its course with Ward under center as they attempt to reverse their early-season struggles.
