Robots that participated in the Beijing Games now have to work

The second edition of the World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing has shifted its focus from athletic performance to practical labor capabilities. While previous iterations centered on activities like running, jumping, and playing soccer, the current competition requires robots to demonstrate their utility in professional environments.

To facilitate this transition, organizers have expanded the event's scope significantly. The competition now features twenty distinct scenarios modeled after real-world work tasks, an increase from the six scenarios presented in the inaugural edition.
