Romanian utilities group Electrica registers 7.7% higher EBITDA in H1 2026

Romanian utilities group Electrica reported a 7.7% increase in EBITDA for the first half of 2026, reaching RON 1.07 billion. This figure represents a growth from the RON 1 billion recorded during the same period in 2025.

The company attributed this financial improvement primarily to performance variations within its supply segment. The results reflect the group's operational activity during the first six months of the year.
