Rubber ducks by the thousands splash into Chicago River for annual Special Olympics fundraiser

On Thursday, approximately 90,000 rubber ducks were released into the Chicago River as part of the annual Chicago Ducky Derby. The event, which took place along a skyscraper-lined stretch of the river, involved the ducks being dumped from a truck to initiate the race.
