Rural road link join main Highlands Highway in Wapenamanda District

Miki Kaeok, the Wapenamanda Open MP and Minister for Coffee and Transport, has officially opened a newly constructed rural road link in the Wapenamanda District of Papua New Guinea. The infrastructure project connects Lowarlai, located in the Timin Valley, directly to the main Highlands Highway at Pombapos, near the Wapenamanda township.

During the inauguration, Minister Kaeok highlighted the practical significance of the new road link for the local population. The project aims to improve transportation accessibility between isolated rural communities and the primary regional transport artery, facilitating better movement of people and goods in the area.
