Russia launched a new drone and missile attack against Ukraine: at least nine dead and 20 wounded

Russian forces launched a coordinated overnight assault on Ukraine using drones and missiles, resulting in at least nine fatalities and 20 injuries. The strikes impacted multiple regions, including Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and the capital city of Kiev, where several explosions were reported following air raid alerts.

In Kiev, the attacks caused a fire at a warehouse and struck a children's hospital. Emergency services confirmed that the strikes caused casualties across the affected areas, with six of the reported deaths occurring in Zaporizhzhia.
