Russia says Ukraine hit two facilities at Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant

Overnight on Monday, Ukrainian drones attacked two facilities at the Russian-held Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in southeastern Ukraine, according to statements from Moscow. Alexei Likhachev, the director general of Russia's state nuclear corporation Rosatom, reported the strikes.

Despite the reported drone attacks on the two facilities, Rosatom's leadership stated that there is currently no threat to nuclear safety at the plant.
