SA premier defends MotoGP tree removals with almost 400 now slated for chop

South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas has defended the removal of trees in Adelaide's east parklands to accommodate a new city motorsport track for the MotoGP event. The premier rejected allegations that he misled the public regarding the scale of the tree-felling operation.

Originally involving a smaller count, the current plan now slates almost 400 trees for removal to make way for the new track infrastructure.
