SAFIRE wins award for three decades of community conservation work

The Southern Alliance for Indigenous Resources (SAFIRE) has been awarded the Environmental Stewardship and Social Impact Award. The recognition took place at the 2026 Manicaland Province Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Environmental Sustainability and Governance (ESG) and Responsible Business Awards.

The accolade honors SAFIRE for more than three decades of ongoing community conservation work. The organization focuses on environmental sustainability and social impact initiatives within the region.
