The Dominican Republic's Ministry of Public Health reported three additional maternal deaths during the 29th epidemiological week. This update brings the total number of maternal fatalities recorded nationwide this year to 76.
According to the official report, the three women who died were between the ages of 26 and 30. Two of the deceased were identified as Dominican nationals.
