Samia Scholarship expands overseas opportunities

The Tanzanian government has increased the Samia Scholarship Extended Programme by securing 10 additional overseas scholarships for high-performing Form Six science students. This expansion brings the total number of students selected for undergraduate studies abroad under the initiative to 60.

The program is designed to support top-tier science students in pursuing higher education internationally. By increasing the capacity of the scholarship, the government aims to further educational opportunities for Tanzanian youth in specialized fields.
