Saskatchewan eatery owner pleads guilty to charging employee to work for them

The owner of a Guac Mexi Grill in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, has pleaded guilty to charges related to the exploitation of an employee. Between August 2023 and February 2024, the owner required a foreign worker to pay $12,000 as a condition of maintaining their employment at the establishment.
