Saudi Arabia to introduce Team Base Camp concept at the AFC Asian Cup 2027

Saudi Arabia will implement a Team Base Camp concept for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup, marking the first time this model has been utilized in the tournament's history. The announcement was made by Mai Al-Helabi, CEO of the Local Organizing Committee, during the World Football Summit held in Madrid.

The initiative is part of the Kingdom's broader preparations to host the continental football championship. By introducing the Team Base Camp concept, organizers aim to streamline logistics and enhance the experience for participating teams throughout the duration of the event.
