Argentine television diva Mirtha Legrand has been hospitalized at the Sanatorio Mater Dei in Buenos Aires, where she remains in a private room following her admission.

Authorities at the medical center, including Medical Director Dr. Enrique Echague, released the first official medical bulletin stating that Legrand is being treated for a bronchial respiratory condition.
