Google Maps' new AI trick for ordering food at your favorite restaurants

Google Maps has introduced a new artificial intelligence-powered feature called Ask Maps, designed to help users order food directly from their favorite restaurants. The tool allows customers to handle takeout requests ahead of time, such as ordering a pizza before leaving the office, by simply interacting with the application.

Separately, a judicial proceeding in the Dominican Republic led to a conviction regarding an armed attack that took place on March 9, 2025, at the WhatsApp Drink establishment in the Capotillo neighborhood of the National District. The shooting incident, which left two victims affected, was solved largely due to the testimony of an individual who was initially approached to participate in the crime, refused to shoot, and subsequently cooperated with authorities.
