Oaxaca registers a 4.1 magnitude earthquake in Matías Romero

Between September 25 and September 26, the Servicio Sismológico Nacional (SSN) recorded a series of seismic events across various regions in Mexico. These tremors ranged from 4.0 to 4.2 in magnitude and occurred at varying depths, affecting the states of Chiapas, Oaxaca, and Guerrero. Specifically, seismic activity was reported in Ciudad Hidalgo, Matías Romero, Salina Cruz, and Zihuatanejo.

The recorded events took place at different times throughout the two-day period, with depths ranging from 16 km to over 130 km. These reports reflect ongoing seismic monitoring by official authorities across the country's active geological zones.
