A 4.3 magnitude earthquake was recorded

On September 27, the Servicio Sismológico Nacional (SSN) recorded two distinct seismic events in the state of Chiapas, Mexico. The first tremor, measured at a magnitude of 4.3, occurred at 02:20 hours, 33 km southwest of Cd Hidalgo, at a depth of 6 km. Shortly thereafter, at 02:36 hours, a second earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 was registered 22 km northwest of Cintalapa, occurring at a depth of 180.4 km.

These preliminary reports indicate that both seismic activities took place within a short time frame in the early morning hours. No further information regarding potential damage or casualties has been provided in the initial data.
