Search operation resumes for seven missing climbers after Broad Peak avalanche

Search and rescue operations resumed Saturday on Pakistan’s Broad Peak following a devastating avalanche that struck a 10-member international expedition. The operation, supported by military helicopters and high-altitude porters, aims to locate climbers missing after the incident on the 8,047-meter mountain.

Authorities have reported conflicting figures regarding the number of missing individuals, with reports citing between six and seven climbers still unaccounted for. Rescue teams have already recovered three bodies from the site, with efforts continuing to locate the remaining expedition members.
