Federal Tourism Secretary Josefina Rodríguez Zamora has publicly responded to allegations of nepotism following reports in national media that her relatives hold positions within the tourism sector.

Addressing the controversy, the official clarified that her brother is employed within the same agency, the Secretariat of Tourism (Sectur), but works specifically in the state of Puebla rather than the federal headquarters or overlapping directly.
