Senado de Perú inicia proceso para refrendar continuidad del presidente del Banco Central

The Peruvian Parliament began the process on Wednesday to ratify Julio Velarde as president of the Central Bank. Velarde has held the position for twenty years and is currently undergoing the formal legislative procedure to continue his tenure.
