Leaders of Republika Srpska pay tribute to war criminal Ratko Mladic after his death

Ratko Mladic, the convicted former Bosnian Serb military commander known as the 'Butcher of the Balkans,' died at the age of 83 in a prison in The Hague. Following his death, leaders of the Republika Srpska paid tribute to him, while the Serbian government confirmed that he will be buried with full state honors, according to statements from the Serbian Minister of Justice, Nenad Vujić.

The event has brought the armed conflict of Bosnia and Herzegovina back into public debate.
