Serbia's president criticizes UN court for not releasing war criminal Mladic to die at home

On Friday, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic criticized the United Nations war crimes court in The Hague for its refusal to grant an early release to former Bosnian Serb army commander Ratko Mladic. Vucic characterized the court's decision as "uncivilized behavior."

Mladic, who was convicted of war crimes, died on Thursday at the age of 84. His death occurred after the tribunal previously denied requests to release him so he could die at home.
