The National Health Service (NHS) and the CMD are coordinating efforts to improve services

The Servicio Nacional de Salud (SNS) and the Colegio Médico Dominicano (CMD) have initiated coordination efforts aimed at improving healthcare services. As part of these discussions, the SNS stated that every Primary Care Center currently has a designated assistant physician responsible for supervising daily operations.

This assertion by the SNS serves as a counterpoint to criticisms raised earlier this year by the political party Fuerza del Pueblo. The party has previously challenged the operational status of these facilities, suggesting a discrepancy between official administrative claims and the reported conditions on the ground.
